Another experiment with Myrobalan and Tannin, I dipped the buff colored linen scarf into an indigo vat and the result was a blue green. A great color for fall, you can wear it as a scarf or a wrap. Myrobalan comes from a tree in SE Asia. It grows nuts and when they are dried and simmered in water, the hue is a yellow. You can change the color by adding different amounts of Tannin, hence the buff color before the Indigo bath.
Handwoven on a loom, this linen wrap has an open weave structure. To create the blocks of open weave on the fabric, the warp yarns are set farther apart on the loom. This gives a very light and airy feel. The wrap is great for summer or a cruise.
Hand or Delicate Wash, Hang to dry. May be ironed.
Dimensions: 72” long, 22” wide
100% Linen
