This beautiful clear deep yellow comes from the Osage Orange tree. Native to Pennsylvania, a tree blew down in my yard and I made a dye bath with the sawdust.
Handwoven by Fair Trade Weavers, this scarf is composed of 70% High Twist Silk and 30% soft Merino Wool The high twist of the silk creates texture in the fabric. You have a choice of wearing a crinkled scarf if you wash it, or a smooth fabric if you iron it. It’s soft, warm, easy care, and can be styled in many ways.
Care: Wash on a delicate cycle and hang to dry. It may be ironed for a smooth look.
