Mandarin Red Orange Dotted Silk Scarf

This brilliant red is created with madder root, the ancient dye. Depending on the temperature of the dye bath, madder that gives a range of browns, oranges and reds. The silk organza takes the madder root dye to yield a rich color. The cotton balls are very dense fiber woven into the organza. The dots only take some of the madder root dye because of the density.

Care: Hand wash or machine gentle cycle, hang to dry, may be ironed.
