Terracotta Madder Handwoven Linen Wrap

$58.00
sold out

Madder, so many shades depending on the temperature of the dye bath. This linen shawl was dyed at about 140 degrees F. The natural sunlight brings out the bright undertones, where when the shawl is inside with natural light, it has cinnamon undertones. This color is transitional, you can wear it as the summer turns to fall.

The fabric is a light weight handwoven linen. I have washed it three times; each time you wash and iron it, the linen fabric becomes softer.

I had the shawls woven by fair trade artisans on handlooms in Bhubaneswar, India. It is very comfortable to wear and is washable. The wrap has a lovely drape. It’s a great summer shawl, for cruises, and wedding attire.

Dimensions: 86” by 37”, not including the fringe.
