Light Blue Indigo Handwoven Linen Wrap

$58.00

This linen wrap was dipped in the indigo vat once. The variations of light blues are created by stirring and turning the linen in the dye pot. Some parts of the fabric are submerged, some peak through the dye bath, creating the variations.

The fabric is a light weight handwoven linen. I have washed it three times; each time you wash and iron it, the linen fabric becomes softer.

I had the shawls woven by fair trade artisans on handlooms in Bhubaneswar, India. It is very comfortable to wear and is washable. The wrap has a lovely drape. It’s a great summer shawl, for cruises, and wedding attire.

Dimensions: 86” by 37”, not including the fringe.
