A soft tomato red, created by a bath of madder root at 140 degrees F. Madder root dye is very sensitive to temperature. You can create oranges by 130 degrees F, and browns over 140 degrees F. The dye has a very wide range of colors. The scarf can be worn as a wrap too.
The fine silk organza is woven on a loom by fair trade artisans. The dots and placed into the weaving shed as it is woven. The cotton ball dots sometimes take on a different shade of the dye because the fiber is different.
Care: Hand wash or gentle cycle in machine, hang to dry. You can steam it and iron it, moving the iron upward on the fabric.
