Fair Trade Handwoven Silk Wool Wrap Soft Pink

This is a lovely soft pink color. There are variations in the pink—darker or lighter because the individual “beats” of the weaver. Depending on how hard the weaver packs in the yarn, it has a more dense or lighter fabric. The denser the yarn, the deeper the shade. It has hand tied fringe and is a 50/50% silk wool blend. It can be worn as a scarf, a wrap for a wedding or an evening.

I dyed this with a premium lac dye which gives very pure hues ranging from pinks to reds. This handwoven piece is easy care. It has been washed three times and ironed.

Care: Hand wash or delicate cycle. Hang to dry and iron.
