Plant Dyed Lavender Gray Heather Soft Merino Wrap

The hills and rock walls in Yorkshire give off a lavender color during mid afternoon in the early fall. The lavender hue is is a neutral and absolutely gorgeous when it balances brighter colors. This wrap is a plain weave, sheer, and a very comfortable  light weight fine wool. I dyed this with sapponwood, marigold and iron. The hint of lavender comes through the neutral gray.

The merino wool yarn is very soft and has a great drape. You can wear it as a wrap or a scarf. Very lightweight and great for travel, summer evenings, or as a scarf for the office.

The wrap was washed three times and ironed.

Care: Wash it in a gentle cycle or hand wash in cool water. Hang to dry. If you want to iron it for a smoother look, use a silk setting.
